Around 137 activists detained by Israel for taking part in a flotilla seeking to deliver aid to Gaza have been deported to Istanbul. The individuals include 36 Turkish nationals as well as citizens from US, UK, Kuwait, Malaysia, Morocco and Switzerland among others. "Their true goal was provocation in the service of Hamas, not humanitarian assistance," Israel's Foreign Ministry stated.
