Russia's first deputy permanent representative to UN, Dmitry Polyansky, said Israel is forgetting lessons of the Holocaust and violating international law with its plan to seize Gaza City. He stated Israel's plan will deepen Gaza's humanitarian crisis and will derail chances of a two-state Israel and Palestine solution. Polyansky said this during an emergency UN Security Council meeting.
