Israeli media reported that the strike followed an "exchange of fire" with Hamas members and comes shortly after US remarked that Hamas was planning an "imminent" attack on Palestinian civilians, even as Hamas denied the allegation. Hamas had shot dead 33 people in Gaza recently.
