Israel launched an attack in Lebanon's capital Beirut targeting Hezbollah chief of staff Ali Tabtabai, PM Benjamin Netanyahu's office confirmed on Sunday. This marked the first time in several months that Israel attacked Lebanon. Reuters reported that at least two people were killed and two dozen were injured. The US imposed sanctions on Tabtabai in 2016.
