The Russian Foreign Ministry on Tuesday condemned Israel’s attacks on Iran’s "peaceful" nuclear sites, calling them "illegal" under international law. "[The attacks] create unacceptable threats to international security and push the world to a nuclear catastrophe," the ministry stated. A solution to the conflict over Tehran's nuclear programme can only be achieved through diplomacy, it added.
