The Israeli military used a US-made 230 kg bomb when it attacked a target in a crowded beachfront cafe in Gaza on Monday, as per evidence. International law experts said the use of such a munition despite the known presence of many unprotected civilians may constitute a war crime. Israel Defence Forces said the attack was under review.
