Israeli Defence Minister Israel Katz ordered the Israeli military to prepare for demolishing all Hamas tunnels in Gaza, aiming to demilitarise the territory and disarm Hamas once all hostages are released. This operation will be conducted directly by the IDF and through a US-led international mechanism. Hamas is expected to release all the hostages, living and dead, on October 13.
