Israeli airstrikes have killed at least 79 people in Gaza in the last 24 hours, the Gaza Health Ministry said. One strike hit the home of Dr Alaa al-Najjar, a paediatrician at Nasser Hospital, killing nine of her ten children and setting the house ablaze. Her husband and surviving child were reportedly severely injured and are being treated in hospital.
