A viral video on social media shows an effigy of Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu hanging from a crane in Turkey. The figure was seen hanging with a banner which read, "Death penalty for Netanyahu." Israel condemned the act saying, "In Erdogan's Turkey, hatred and anti-semitism is celebrated." Turkey's President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has accused Netanyahu of committing "genocide" in Gaza.
