Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Tuesday announced that he will travel to the US next week to meet US President Donald Trump amid the latter's push for a ceasefire in Gaza. Netanyahu said he is likely to meet US Vice-President JD Vance, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and members of Congress for "security meetings".
