ISRO on Saturday celebrated the diamond jubilee of India's first sounding rocket launch from Kerala's Thumba. As part of the celebrations, a sounding rocket was launched from the same spot where the first one took place on November 21, 1963. The countdown was announced by veteran scientist Pramod Kale, who also did the countdown for the original launch.
