ISRO's PSLV-C60 on Monday launched the SpaDeX mission from Sriharikota. SpaDeX (Space Docking Experiment) aims to demonstrate the technology of in-space docking using two small spacecraft. This technology is essential for India's space ambitions such as sending humans to Moon, sample return from the Moon, and building and operation of Bharatiya Antariksh Station (BAS) among others.
