ISRO has released a Flood Hazard Atlas for Assam using 26 years of satellite data. It shows 27.08 lakh hectares are flood-prone, with 18.22 lakh hectares of cropland at risk. Bajali and Morigaon districts are among the worst affected. The atlas aims to help officials plan flood mitigation and land-use measures.
