Aamir Khan recently highlighted a major problem with Indian cinema, speaking about why its audience reach is very limited. He said, "The most successful films...attract only around 3 to 3.5 crore people to theatres. That's a mere fraction...of India's total population." He pointed out how there are districts without a single theatre and urged increase in cinema infrastructure.
