After US President Donald Trump announced a hike in H-1B visa fee to $100,000 (₹88 lakh), the White House has clarified that it is a one-time fee and not an annual fee. White House spokesperson Karoline Leavitt said the new hike will be applicable "only to new visas, not renewals, and not current visa holders".
