Reacting to US President Donald Trump raising fee for H-1B visas to ₹88 lakh per year, Congressman Ami Bera called the move a "mistake" and said it will hurt US companies. "We need these technology workers. I do not think they are displacing the US workforce. I think there are plenty of jobs in the US," he stated.
