The estranged sister-in-law of the Greater Noida dowry victim, Nikki Bhati, alleged that Nikki's family beat her for dowry. Reacting to the allegations, Nikki's father said, "This matter is different [from that of Nikki's]. My son never lifted his hand on her [Minakshi]." The woman had said Nikki's family had demanded a car and cash from her family, NDTV reported.
