The Supreme Court has criticised Karnataka HC for asking actor Kamal Haasan to apologise for his remark that "Kannada was born from Tamil". "There's something wrong with the system when one person makes a statement and everyone gets involved," the court said, adding, "It's not the business of [HC] to seek apology from anybody just because he's expressed a view."
