J&K CM Omar Abdullah, on Indians evacuated from war-torn Iran under Operation Sindhu, said, "It's our responsibility...their parents would definitely be worried." He added, "I spoke to Minister S Jaishankar...and we prepared a plan, and under that plan, these children are being brought back." Abdullah said there are around 1,500 students from J&K and 6,000–8,000 Indians in total in Iran.
