Reacting to Naseeruddin Shah's old interview where he said he doesn't like Farhan Akhtar's acting, the latter said criticism should come "with a certain degree of love and respect". Farhan said Shah knows him and his family well, so he could've spoken to him directly. "I felt...this person doesn't respect me...so why should I reach out to him?" he added.
