Italy's competition authority (AGCM) hit fast-fashion brand Shein with 1 million euro (₹10.14 crore) fine for greenwashing and misleading customers on environmental impact of its goods. AGCM stated Shein's environmental sustainability messages are "vague" and at times "misleading". Shein replied, "We've strengthened internal review process...to ensure...claims...are compliant with regulations."
