The Ministry of External Affairs called out Al Jazeera over falsely describing Jammu and Kashmir as "Indian-administered Kashmir" in one of its reports. "Disinformation alert!" the ministry said, adding, "J&K is an inalienable and integral part of India." The government has repeatedly clarified that the entire J&K, including parts under Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, is an integral part of India.
