Jammu and Kashmir CM Omar Abdullah claimed several NC leaders were placed under house arrest to stop them from attending July 13 Martyrs' Day event at Srinagar's Naqshband Sahib graveyard. "Homes have been locked from the outside, police...deployed as jailers," he posted on X. He criticised restrictions near the historic graveyard, saying it dishonours those who gave "Kashmiris a voice".
