J&K govt reserved 80% of Group C and D jobs for locals in Chenab Valley hydropower projects, including 1000 MW Pakaldul, 624 MW Kiru, 540 MW Kwar, and 850 MW Ratle. At least 49% of Group A and B roles are for J&K residents. Contractors prioritise local labour. Currently, 87.6% of CVPPL and 84.16% of Ratle workers are locals.
