Jammu and Kashmir will build a 10 MW agro-solar plant on the defunct Pampore gas turbine site. The ₹30 per unit gas plant has been non-functional since 2012. The new solar project, led by the Jammu and Kashmir Power Development Corporation Limited and SECI, will boost renewable capacity, with work set to begin by year-end.
