Adivasi poet and Sahitya Akademi Yuva Puraskar 2025 recipient, Parvati Tirkey is documenting and sharing her tribal cultural values, which were passed down orally and never written. "We owe this to future generations," she said on documenting these values. Tirkey has been trying to encapsulate her learnings through the tradition of ‘oral libraries’ (stories heard from elders) in her poetry.
