Himadri Purkait, 24-year-old third-year Sociology student at Jadavpur University, has gone missing amid heavy rains and landslides in West Bengal's Darjeeling. Purkait had arrived in Darjeeling on September 26 and was working as a receptionist at a local lodge to fund his trip, his family said. "I last spoke to him on Saturday at around 10 pm," Purkait's mother said.
