India all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja surpassed the 4,000-run mark in Tests during the first Test match against South Africa. With this, Jadeja has become the second Indian and fourth player overall to amass 4,000 runs and 300 wickets in Tests. He achieved the feat in his 87th Test match. Ex-Indian captain Kapil Dev has 5,248 runs and 434 wickets in Tests.
