A wounded jaguar was rescued from Brazil's Rio Negro River after being spotted swimming with multiple gunshot injuries, reports said. It added that the military police and wildlife experts guided the animal to shore using a rescue float, then transferred it to a veterinary facility for treatment. Officials confirmed the jaguar is receiving medical treatment and is under observation.
