Congress leader Jairam Ramesh lashed out at Union Home Minister Amit Shah, dubbing him an "indigenously developed Weapon of Mass Disinformation and Intimidatory Mass Polarisation." His remarks came after Shah blamed "infiltration" for the rise in the Muslim population. Congress MP Pawan Khera also accused Shah of trying to stoke communal tensions ahead of elections.
