Foreign Minister S Jaishankar hosted a meeting of BRICS Foreign Ministers in US' New York despite US President Donald Trump repeatedly criticising the bloc. Sharing pictures from the meet, Jaishankar said, "As rising protectionism, tariff volatility and non-tariff barriers impact trade flow, BRICS must defend multilateral trading system," in an apparent reference to Trump's 50% tariffs on India.
