Jalna DSP Anant Kulkarni was caught on camera kicking a protester attempting self-immolation before Minister Pankaja Munde's convoy on Independence Day. The protester, Gopal Chaudhary, on a hunger strike for days, allegedly poured kerosene on himself and a female officer. Kulkarni justified the action, but NCP-SP MLA Rohit Pawar condemned it and demanded strict government action.
