Jammu recorded 380 mm of rainfall within 24 hours, which is the maximum rainfall recorded since 1910, with the death toll from floods and the Vaishno Devi landslide rising to 41. Thirty-four people died near Ardhkuwari while on their way to the Hindu pilgrimage site, as a landslide occurred on Tuesday. Four people died in Doda due to flash floods.
