Dharma Production's creative head, Somen Mishra claimed that despite 'Dhadak 2' and 'Homebound' performing moderately at box office, they didn't incur losses. He said, "'Dhadak 2' and 'Homebound' are two of the most tightly budgeted films in Dharma...we're safe number-wise." He explained, "On 'Homebound', everyone took a pay cut, from the writers to HoDs, and Janhvi Kapoor worked for free."
