Japanese government is cracking down on 'Kirakira' (sparkly or shiny) baby names like 'Pikachu', 'Nike' or 'Pudding'. Names in Japan are typically written in Kanji, a logographic script derived from Chinese in which each character has its own meaning and can have multiple pronunciations.
