Japan startup JPYC is set to issue the country's first stablecoin pegged to the yen by 2025-end. The stablecoin will be fully convertible to the yen and backed by domestic savings and Japanese government bonds. Earlier, US President Donald Trump had signed into law federal rules and guidelines for stablecoins to facilitate their usage in everyday payments and settlements.
