The JD(U) has released its first list of 57 candidates for the Bihar Assembly elections. At least five of these seats were expected to be allocated to the Chirag Paswan-led LJP(RV) as part of the NDA seat-sharing arrangement, NDTV reported. However, Nitish Kumar stressed that these seats remain with JD(U). The seats are Morwa, Sonbarsa, Rajgir, Gaighat, and Matihani.
