A 24/7 suicide prevention helpline named “Jeevanline” has been launched in Tamil Nadu. The service, which went live on 10 September, is accessible across the state and offers support in Tamil, English, and Hindi. Psychologists are available to provide assistance. Privacy of callers is protected, while essential details such as time, date, and location are logged to ensure timely intervention.
