Mumbai Police registered an FIR at Trombay Police Station after a 69-year-old jeweller from Chembur alleged that Akbar Hussain alias Raju Batla threatened him and demanded ₹50 lakh as extortion money. The accused allegedly warned the complainant not to hand over a Trombay property for development and threatened to kill him if the amount was not paid.
