Telecom giants Reliance Jio and Bharti Airtel have raised concerns against Telecom Regulatory Authority of India's proposed 4% annual revenue fee for satellite service providers like Elon Musk's Starlink. They argued the rate is significantly lower than the 21% paid by terrestrial telecom operators through spectrum auctions. The operators said the "unjustifiably low" rates would benefit Starlink.
