A Reddit user claimed despite travelling five hours for a Fortune 500 company's job interview and getting the director's praise, they were rejected after four weeks via an automated email. The company had asked the jobseeker to interview for a post higher than the one they'd applied for. They claimed the company even refused to compensate their travel expenses.
