Former England captain Joe Root on Sunday created history by recording most hundreds at home in Test cricket. The 34-year-old hit his 24th Test hundred at home on Day 4 of The Oval Test against India. The previous record was jointly held by Mahela Jayawardene, Jacques Kallis and Ricky Ponting, who hit 23 Test hundreds each at home.
