Johannesburg's main and busiest airport, OR Tambo International Airport, suffered an air traffic control (ATC) system failure on Friday. State company Air Traffic and Navigation Services (ATNS) said in a statement that the system failure had affected the flight plan management system and is expected to cause delays to departures. ATNS didn't specify what caused the failure.
