People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) India, which recently celebrated its 25th anniversary, named John Abraham as the first honorary Director of PETA India. John has championed animal rights by urging Quikr to ban live animal trading, calling for a circus animal act ban, speaking against illegal pig killings, and opposing elephant abuse in Nepal.
