Journalist Kommineni Srinivasa Rao was arrested by Andhra Pradesh Police over a case involving offensive comments made during a Sakshi TV debate show moderated by him. Multiple complaints were lodged over a debate that allegedly contained derogatory comments on Amaravati region's women made by another journalist VVR Krishnamraju. Rao, who hosted the show, is accused of not denouncing his remarks.
