After witnessing the highest-ever tax generation in May, the GST collection witnessed a decline of 2% in June this year in comparison to the gross levy collected during the corresponding period last year. The collection for June this year stood at ₹220 crore, which is ₹4 crore less than ₹224 crore mopped up in the same month last year.
