K-pop group NewJeans has been ordered to pay 1 billion KRW ($726,000) fine for each time they independently carry out activities without approval from their agency, ADOR, amid ongoing legal battle. The tensions between the parties will remain till the verdict regarding the validity of NewJeans and ADOR's exclusive contract is declared. A second hearing is set for June 5.
