The Karnataka government recently announced a grant of ₹1,100 crore for the repair and development of roads in Bengaluru. Of this, a ₹50 crore grant will be given each to 14 Assembly constituencies and ₹25 crore each to the remaining 14. Several BJP MLAs in the city alleged that they have been allotted a lesser grant than Congress MLAs.
