Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah said on Monday that the state will conduct a census of Scheduled Castes (SCs) from May 5 to 17. He stated that the state government has formed a commission, headed by retired High Court judge Nagamohan Das, to gather data on 101 castes within SC category. We need clear data on each group's population, he added.
