The first batch of Kailash Mansarovar Yatra pilgrims, consisting of 36 people, arrived in Tibet on Friday and were welcomed by Chinese officials and the PLA. The revered Kailash Mansarovar Yatra through Sikkim recommenced after a gap of five years on Friday with the ceremonial flagging off. The batch of 36 people consists of two nodal officers and one doctor.
